considering i’m eating my second bowl of cereal today (not likely my last), the fact that you still cook proper meals impresses me. we ran out of pasta, otherwise i would have it for lunch with butter and pecorino. coming up with an actual menu is apparently too much for the lazy homemaker in me!

my solution is to wait until the last minute and swoop in for a fine feeding. that stew looks delicious, however, and much easier to make than a thanksgiving dinner.

the midwest! who knew it could be so lovely? all those lakes and b&b’s, so very tempting.
